Project Overview

The TechVerse’s Website project was aimed at developing a comprehensive platform for the technical club at our college. The website was built using Jekyll, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, and Django and REST Framework for the backend. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages and the backend is deployed on PythonAnywhere.

The website includes several features such as an events page, registration and feedback forms, a blogging platform, contact forms, and membership management. One of the key aspects of this project was converting an HTML/CSS template to Jekyll JS.

Project Steps

  1. Step 1: Converting the HTML/CSS template to Jekyll JS.
  2. Step 2: Setting up the backend using Django and REST Framework.
  3. Step 3: Deploying the backend on PythonAnywhere.
